AR 239 begins at AR 181 west of Blytheville and runs east into town. The route meets AR 18, AR 151, and US 61 in Blytheville before becoming Main St.. Highway 239 then turns south with AR 312 to cross Interstate 55. The route terminates at AR 148 south of Blytheville.
